Cheers guys (Or Jason, the person who made the Spyware guide) I really appreciate what you are doing, you're great!

Are you my stalker? How you know my name?

What problems are you having?

Well, when I downloaded your guide I hovered the mouse over the document.. :)

"Author: Land, Jason"

Although yes I am your stalker :p

Well it seems that if I am on the internet for a while I get disconnected and I can not reconnect, because my device sees no networks in range.. (I'm on Wireless.)

Another confusing thing. My wireless card is a PC60-G MSI but for some reason Windows 7 installs drivers for some Atheros card. I even have the MSI drivers disc but Windows always chooses the Atheros adapter over the MSI one.

I have only started to be disconnnected recently, I suspect a virus. When I do an AVG rootkit scan it finds a hidden driver in System32 every time, but with a different name (it re-appears after a restart when I delete it.)

I am currently using a Belkin Wireless G USB adapter which keeps the connection up, and I even have both adapters working at the same time (with different IPs). This works well but after a few minutes the atheros card loses connection but the USB adapter stays strong.

The disconnection is always at different intervals. Sometimes after 30 seconds and at other times I can manage to get through 2 episodes of "The Office". (This is prior to using the USB adapter.)

The reason why I want to get this fixed is because I don't really want to have to use two wireless devices, could you please lend any assistance?

Cheers!

I can't run Combofix on Windows 7 :S "Windows can not find NircmdB. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

The name of the .SYS file varies on every delete on reboot.

Tell me about it, I'll run the scan now. Sorry if I have to double post ;(

Edit: I can't run SDfix in safe mode. It just closes immediately.
