I was infected with Alcra by using Limewire. Now Limewire continues to pop up and tells me it's unable to load the JavaRuntime Environment even though Limewire is no longer on the system. I also can't access taskmgr, cmd, regedit, etc. I've cleaned the system with Norton, Spybot, and Ad-Aware SE, but still I'm getting the same problem. Below is my Hijack this log. This is a prime example of AlcanB infection so it's fix needs to be run.

Perform an online scan with Internet Explorer with Panda ActiveScan
** click on "Free use ActiveScan" located on the top right hand corner
  1. Click Check Now & a 'pop up' window shall appear. *ensure that your pop up blocker doesn't block it
  2. Enter your e-mail address, country, and state & click Scan Now ...begins downloading 8 MB Panda's ActiveX controls
Begin the scan by selecting My Computer
  • If it finds any malware, it will offer you a report.
    [*] Please ignore any entry it finds and wants you to buy the program for removal as we will address this later.
    [*] Click on see report. Then click Save report
