We'll get to your log as soon as possible (it's not forgotten)! I'm having some ISP problems at the moment and hope to be back in later.

ComputerIlleter::::

Before attacking an adware/spyware problem with hijackthis make sure you have already run ad-aware SE with VX2 add-on cleaner, Spybot Search & Destroy (with updated database) and CWShredder as these programs will clean a lot of the crap out first. All links to programs are in my signature. Ok..on to the logÂ…..

Go to My Computer->Tools->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that Show hidden files and folders is enabled. Also make sure that the System Files and Folders are showing/visible also. Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore.

Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up). Make sure to close any open browsers. Open add/remove programs and remove the following if listed.

Viewpoint
Admilli Service

Go into HijackThis->Config->Misc. Tools->Open process manager. Select the following and click Kill process for each one if they are still listed (they shouldn't be but make sure)

C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe
C:\Program Files\Admilli Service\AdmilliServ.exe
C:\Program Files\Admilli Service\AdmilliKeep.exe

Check and fix the following in HijackThis if they still exist (make sure you do not miss an entry)

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497} - (no file)
F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe winsock.scr
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {00000010-6F7D-442C-93E3-4A4827C2E4C8} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: Viewpoint Toolbar BHO - {A7327C09-B521-4EDB-8509-7D2660C9EC98} - C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Toolbar\ViewBarBHO.dll
O3 - Toolbar: Viewpoint Toolbar - {F8AD5AA5-D966-4667-9DAF-2561D68B2012} - C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Toolbar\ViewBar.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ViewMgr] C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [OSS] c:\winnt\system32\ossproxy.exe -boot
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [C:\WINNT\system32\opeC.exe ] C:\WINNT\system32\opeC.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Admilli Service] C:\Program Files\Admilli Service\AdmilliServ.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [dxset.exe] C:\WINNT\dxsetu.exe
O8 - Extra context menu item: &Viewpoint Search - res://C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Toolbar\ViewBar.dll/CXTSEARCH.HTML

Delete the following Files/Folders in RED (delete folders if no filename is specified or they are RED) according to their directory (If you can't find them...do a search for themÂ…make sure you have search hidden files, folders, sub directorys..ect enabled if it applys to your OS)

C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe
C:\Program Files\Admilli Service\AdmilliServ.exe
c:\winnt\system32\ossproxy.exe
C:\WINNT\system32\opeC.exe
C:\WINNT\dxsetu.exe
winsock.scr
<--locate and delete that file. Likely location is C:\WINNT\System32 folder.

Once done reboot into Normal Mode and post a new HijackThis log file to confirm what was removed and if it's clean or not. Once your clean you can enable system restore again.
