well i've been having a major problem lately with some kind of either spyware or virus or something of some sort thats on my computer that i just cant detect, i've tried MULTIPLE anti-programs to detect and remove them but they arent detecting much at all

I've tried:
Norton AV
Spydoctor
Spybot S&D
Spysweeper
Spyhunter
Pestpatrol
Ad-Aware
NOD32
BitDefender9
AWD AV
Ewido

and nothing, nothing nothing nothing.

I tried using housecall @ trendmicro but that keeps suddenly closing midway through the scan for no apparent reason

Description of problem:

Whatever it is, all its doing is randomly spiking me from my normal 10-50ms to 500++ ms about 2-8 times a minute, websites sometimes take a while to load due to the 500+ ms spike, and its just ridiculously frustrating. Again, i've scanned it with everything i can think of, i also used an online hijackthis program that explains every line of data that hijackthis discovers and it didnt indicate any problems...

This is my HIJACKTHIS log:

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what the problem is... i've tried EVERYTHING i can think of.. what else is there left for me to do? I REALLY dont want to have to reformat

in advance, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

So I did everything in the guide, the programs i kept were Norton AV, Ad-Aware, and Spydoctor (i know i didnt go by your recommendations but ih ad already previously uninstalled most of them and deleted the setup files for the uninstalled ones.

Following all the steps, nothing detected any problems of any kind, and here is the new and updated HiJackThis log:

I suggest removing Spydoctor and replace with spybot.

ok well i tried all that, im going to give it some time though because i noticed its the worst later at night, so i'll keep my fingers crossed and hope it works..

so what was really the problem? i've had this ISP for over 2 years and never had a problem, its hooked up through a router and it lags w/ and w/o router.. and it lagged before i got spydoctor and continued to lag when i got spydoctor.. =\

again, thanks in advance

sorry for getting back to you so late, but stuff came up, anyways... it looked like the spiking problem was fixed, but today i discovered that it wasnt, and its back to its usual ways... i tried the panda scan and it didnt detect anything, housecall still closes midway through... so i feel like im back to square one, my updated HJT log is:

What type of internet connection do you have?
Do you share a connection with other computers on a network?
Ever had internet problems before?

Log looks clean and if Panda, Spyware Doctor, Norton AV, Spydoctor, Spybot S&D, Spysweeper, Spyhunter, Pestpatrol, Ad-Aware, NOD32, BitDefender9, AWD AV and Ewido are not detecting it, I seriously doubt its a virus/trojan.

You need to go thru the WHOLE guide. You still have an infection. I want to see if Ewido picks your infection up.

i've followed every step of the guide, and i myself am baffled by how it is that NOTHING IS DETECTING WHATEVER IT IS, anyways, i did a netstat -b while i was spiking hardcore and i noticed that through iexplorer.exe, while no browsers were open of course, that the following ip on the following ports showed up.. i think this obviously has some connection with the trojan or virus that i have...

its really hard to keep you guys updated on whats going on because when the spiking gets really bad, i cannot even load this page to post a reply.. anyways:

213.52.230.222:1503 (1 hit)

213.52.227.50 (9 hits)
ports: 1506, 1508, 1510, 1511, 1514, 1518, 1519, 1520, 1522

now in the case taht i've missed something, even though im 99.9999999 percent sure i havent, i'll follow the guide again, step by step, because that .00000000000001 percent of uncertainty, is uncertainty nonetheless...

this computer experiences the same problems whether its through my router or directly to my cable box, my ISP is Rogers Cable. im not sure what the proper speed description of it is but its normal download speed caps at approx 600kb/s yet was capable of hitting 750kb/s when it wasnt capped, through past FTP server setups, my upload speed is approx. 100kb/s...

no internet problems before either.. and i generally go out of my way to keep my computer as clean as possible...
