generally slow...?

I'm on my mom's lappy *home on leave and I still work!!!* and it was running slowly, but I think I have the majority of issues fixed. Ran msconfig and disabled a few programs on startup, got ccleaner *set a personal record of deleting 4.5GB crap then fixed over 400 registry issues* got superantispyware and Avast!, got rid of symantec, now just wanting to make sure there is no hidden issues. thanks!
