hey guys, need some help. Im having a big problem where windows explorer keeps restarting itself, usually once about a minute or so. its extremely annoying. i also have IEXPLORE.EXE in the task manager showing up, when i know for a fact that i didnt start it (i never use IE). also, i get pop-up ads from IE from the middle of nowhere. i went through the warez monster guide, and im still having these problems. here's my HJT log. thanx a lot if guys could help.

HiJackThis log is 100% clean.

I recommend keeping Windows and Apps on the main C drive; this keeps the system running better.

I currently just have it set up this way, but is there anything that could be causing explorer to constantly terminate and then start up again?
*edit* sorry, it is the same drive, just different partitions.

If it's the same drive, it should be okay.

If Explorer is freezing, complete Warez Monster's 4-step process, located in my signature, and in the Virus section of this forum.

ok, i ran spyware catcher and during the scan it found something it said to be inbeded in windows explorer. so i geuss it found what was causing the problems.
just to be safe, here is my readout of my rootkit revealer scan, if you would like to take a look:
