Computer Freezing Up

Need Help Please

Hello all,
I am having some issues with my "confuser" i added cyberlink's power director the other day, as well as an western digital external hard drive and now it is freezing up when i try to open a video. Yesterday i got a warning that panda found a dialer.su and was able to delete it. I have no clue what is going on, there seems to be so much garbage running in the background and i am not sure what to do, i really need some help with this. Here is my HIjack log: Thanks in advance. Also i am getting this error log on startup that says ppctl.dll is damaged or missing. I uninstalled pest patrol when i bought the panda suite and dont know how to make it go away.

Perform an online scan with Internet Explorer with Panda ActiveScan
** click on "Free use ActiveScan" located on the top right hand corner

Please post that log in your next reply.

Click START>>RUN>>Type in msconfig. Open the STARTUP tab and see if there is a listing for "PestPatrol" pointing to that file your having trouble with.

Panda scan online report

Here is the report from pandascan online. Also i added 2 gig of memory and installed an additional hard drive yesterday. Your suggestion did get rid of the pest patrol thingy, but now i am getting this message at startup

Your log is clean. Something to consider is your running the Panda Platinum 2005 Internet Security and Earthlink crap on the same system. Panda is getting as bad as Norton with the junk it installs to the system which makes the system unstable.

Did you find an entry for "PestPatrol" in that startup folder I asked you to check? Let me see what else you have installed.

Open hijackthis...click on CONFIG>>MiscTools>>"Open Uninstall Manager" Once that loads...click on "Save List". Please post that list here.

No unuseal programs installed. You can uninstall Earthlink..but make sure how you connect isn't part of it's uninstall package or when you uninstall it..you may not be able to connect back to the internet using it.

As your problem doesn't appear to me malware related...try asking about this in the Windows forum and they can step you through the troubleshooting process. Your issue sounds like it's either related to your Video player...or a Codec for the movie.
