Comp suddenly got slower.

Not sure why, but some of my power settings have changed seemingly on its own. Also, starting up my comp takes a considerable amount of "loading" time now (can't use anything until after ~5 minutes), which never happened before.

Alright so you had an infected Firefox Extension. I meant Combofix. It only runs on 32 Bit versions of Windows and it is an indepth scanner like MBAM. If possible you should run it.

The host files block access to sites. So having the entry for ThePirateBay on there means that you shouldnt be able to get there. IF you can then those entries should be removed via HiJack This as they are trying to setup to be used as a proxy which can be the cause of your slow down.
