Hey everyone, recently I have been getting popups that say the "blackworm" virus has infected my computer. The same type of popup has appeared but called the virus the "beagle." In addition, I have been getting popup ads from Amaena.com and Winantivirus. I am fairly positive I don't have any of the viruses it claims I have, but I really do not know what to do. I have checked out the other victims of this, but since most of the help is customized to the hijackthis log, I decided to post this topic. Here is my HijackThis log...

I don't know about any of this stuff, but I do know that I don't even have Microsoft Office, so that Excel key or whatever could be something...maybe?

Anyway, I really appreciate you guys and I will check back often.

You have the Vundo trojan....

Please follow the instructions on this page MicroBellÂ’s 5 Step Process
http://www.techsupportforum.com/hijackthis-log-help/15968-please-read-before-posting-hijackthis.html

Once you complete those steps..proceed below...

Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.
  • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
  • Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
  • You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK
  • When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
  • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
  • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
  • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
  • When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
  • Turn your computer back on.
  • Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

Hey, sorry it took me so long to reply. I ran the trendmicro, bitdefender, mcafee, and symantec scans. I also ran the vundo fix.
