AHHHHHHHHHH

So........When I restarted back in normal mode...my computer tells me that i now have no anti-virus anymore, and I tried to do the panda scan, which required the latest active-x, which has never been a problem before due to my computer here at the office is set up to do automatic updates...so when I went to microsofts download page..it tells me that my windows serial wasnt a registered one...which isnt true either...due to this never happening before and that I bought my computer from a retailer.....any thoughts.....can you help?

Skip the Panda log and post the other requested. Your first log show no traces of any Antivirus program...just a Firewall. As for windows update...run the Validation tool and see what it finds. Just because you bought the PC at a retailer doesn't mean they didn't install and crack a version of XP.

How do I run a validation tool?

Visit the Microsoft update page. On the top right there should be a link to Validate your copy of XP to make sure it's legit.

Well...

I couldnt complete the validation due to me not haveing the xp disk on me....but my sticker is there...with the code..but there is no where on the microsoft site to just put it in.....

Well...if your pretty sure you have a legit copy...you'll need to contact Microsoft and sort it out is the update page is seeing your version of XP as pirated. In the mean time please post those requested logs from my last fix.

This is my office computer...it has been acting up.....anything abnormal here?
