So i just recently bought one of these for my zune, and i also just found out that my car cigg lighter is prolly broken.

am i boned? Can i still get it to work? or did i just waste 80 dollars?

Did you check your fuse panel to see if the cigg lighter fuse is blown??

hmm... dunno where that is in a taurus though.. should it be in the storage thingy on the passenger seat? thats where it was in my older car.

Check your owners manual under "fuses". I believe on a Taurus its under the driver-side dash, and there may be some under the hood.

The Cig lighter adapter was only used to charge the Zune. You should have gotten the FM Radio Transmitter. That will still work without the Cig Light adapter. You will jsut have to make sure you Zune is charged at all times.

actually i did just that, but its a pretty ****** connection, i tried connecting the av/transmitter to the modular transmitter and got much better quality of sound.. so yea, its all good, dont have to fix my cig lighter.. just kinda wasted a bit of money for this :]
