Visual Voicemail

Does anyone know if there are any major advanced phones right now that DON'T offer visual voicemail of some kind? I believe the blackberry, treo, and iPhone all do, not sure about the G1. I'm trying to weigh them out and it seems like vv isn't the greatest criteria to use, since they all have it.

Can anyone comment on the differences between vv on the various phones?

Is that on a particular phone model or only through verizon's service?

I'm actually more interested in differences between hardware, because I already get visual voicemail through my company's Gotvmail account -- and I think it's pretty much offered on all the standard pda's. I'm more attempting to decipher differences between those pda's, since vv is one of the top three reasons I'm getting one (the other two are wireless internet and email)
