Verizon contracts

My contract with verizon is up, and im on a month to month plan now. My question is, do i have to be a new verizon customer to get the 2 yr contract prices? Or does it matter?

Your eligible to upgrade @ the new customer price every 20 months into your 2 yr contract. Depending on the calling plan you may may be entitled to an extra 50.00 to 100.00 dollar crdt on a new phone. of course this comes with a 2 yr contract but hey its a good deal
