upgrade questions

so i have a 2 year contract with verizon, and have been on it for 22 months. My phone is getting old and decrepit so i was looking at the voyager. my question is this, i sign in, go to upgrade phone, select my number (im on a family plan) and the prices shown say 2 year contract price......is this to extend my current contract anther 2 years? or no? verizon is confusing lol
