I have recently installed windows vista home basic on my pc and now I am unable to install the software from the cd (which I got along with my phone htc S710), as I am getting message "cannot install in vista". I want to synchornise it with computer, but without the software I cannot do it. please let me know if there is any Synchronisation software for htc S710 compatable with vista.

Have you gone to the device manufacturer's website to see if they have updated software? Have you checked your service providers website to see if they have updated software on there?

Sadly then there isnt much you can do. The only thing you can try is to put the disc in. Do not auto run it. Go under Computer and right click on the CD. Choose the Properties option. Here you will see a tab with Compatibility as its title. Click that and check the box to run the software in XP SP2 mode.
If that doesn't work then you have to contact the manufacturer and see if they have plans to release updated software.
