I use a mobile handset on a GSM network. SMS is a feature that allows sending text messages from one mobile handset to another via the SMS Center/Gateway. My question is, how long does a message remain on the server? are the messages encrypted or are clear text? can anyone else other than the sender/receiver read the messages on the SMSC server. How does it work, etc.
