Opera Mini Scam?

I own a Sony Ericsson K800i and recently i put Opera Mini onto it via Data-lead from computer to mobile. It says on their website the prices of using it, it said some price and it was in pence (US:cents ) but when i used it first time it took £2 off my phone! that's about $2.50 in dollars!

Could somebody explain to me why?

Are you sure that your not being charged for the Data Usage? Cause Opera Mini does uses Data to access the mobile network. So yes you will incur charges that way but not by just downloading and installing the software itself.

Opera mini is free.Though u av been charged by ur service provider so contact them about d expenses.
