The Vu just doesn't feel as well built as the Eternity. It's very light and kinda cheap feeling. Still an alright phone for the cost, even at AT&T prices, but between that and the Eternity, the latter wins hands down. Not to mention it's got a 3mp camera, which is nice, and GPS funtions (if you ever decide to use them).
Also, the Eternity has that feature when you flip it on its side, it will automatically flip. Not sure how you get the full keyboard on the Vu, could never figure it out in the limited time I used it.
Definitely check the Eternity out at the AT&T store. At the moment, my store is selling it for 180 bucks with a $50 MIR, so the fact that it's free at Wal-Mart is amazing.
EDIT: Well, free with a new contract. $1 with an upgrade. Oh the humanity.
