*Ponders jailbreaking his iphone which is sitting right next to him.
Seems a bit too technical for my abilities. I have seen some of what can be done with a "broken" iphone and I am definately interested.

Seconded! It is seriously so not technical it will make you sick. The only thing you need to make sure is that you have your phone backed up and that you have the right version of QuickPWN that matches your firmware...that's it!
 
I'm also a little skepticle because at work, there are 2 guys that jail break phones. One guy bricked a 3G, and the other bricked a 1st Gen. Between the 2, they have probably done about 30 phones.....
 
It was probably when they updated the baseband to 2.28. I know alot of people had problems w/ it. Thats why I patiently waited until it was more mature before jailbreaking and unlocking
