That was pretty cool, I didn't know they take such good quality video, didn't know those planes could go that high either.

I fly RC planes and they actually sell cameras that upload with USB, There about the size of a thumb drive, However I fly fuel powered planes vrs the electric one in the video. Nuts putting the phone on there at that price. Those USB cameras are only about $40 and for how high these planes can really get up there and the range is farther than your line of sight on a plane that size.

Yes, rc planes and helicopters have a range of around 3km. I'm surprised that a 3gs took that, the quality on my 3gs is great for pretty still and slow moving videos but the quality really suffers when moving fast and recording fast moving objects.


And yeh, I'm posting this off my iPhone 3G S.
