My Mother and I are going to be hiking into Baxter state park so she can do some research on the lakes for her work. We have done the hike a few times but I was wondering if there was something we could get to charge our iPods by either solar power or something else.

So my question is: Is there anything that can charge our iPods (Classic/Nano) either by solar power or by using something that can use batteries to charge them.

Thanks

You can get hand crank chargers but I haven't seen them often and they are a little pathetic it takes 2 hours turning to get half hours charge.

most ipods have like 8 hours battery life or something..why on earth would you need more especially when you are hiking? aren't you suppose to enjoy nature? :p
