Yeah nobody likes script kiddies who don't know what they are talking about. It is very rare that software can damage hardware permanently. I would say they only exception to this rule is if you somehow turned off the temp checking system on a motherboard and let a cpu over heat, but thats about it. MCs dont have any moving parts so the only way to ruin it is to physically hurt it.
