Dell Streak to launch by the end of the month

Rumor has it that it will be available on At&t although it might make it's way to other carriers as well. I haven't seen anything concrete regarding pricing however the O2 version is free with a 2 year contract in the UK so maybe we will get lucky and get a good deal too.

The Streak is shipping with Android 1.6 however it's supposed to get Froyo later this year and it's already been rooted so custom roms should be a option as well.

My contract with At&t is up in a month so the Captivate and Streak couldn't have come at a better time.

Update: Apparently a Dell rep has stated the Streak will not launch this week after all

Oh, I see. I had a quick look at the site and saw no mention of phone capabilities.
