What is the best university student tablet that I can buy for £300?

Why a tablet over a small laptop?

I tried using my Nexus 7 for notes and such...and it was somewhat difficult. Had to carry around a bluetooth keyboard with it in order to actually make it usable. My wife has an Asus Transformer with Keyboard-battery dock (used for around $200 or so), and she has been using that for small stuff, but is wanting to switch back to a full laptop, but keep it small.

My recommendation is the Lenovo Yoga 2 10", combined with a Bluetooth keyboard of your choice.

I would suggest HTC Google Nexus 9 tablet. It has pure android and very fast and reliable. Also less than £300.00 now.
