Assassins creed should run well on your 8800GT. Are you playing it in DX10? It runs much better in DX10.

also my 8800gt is the 256mb version

I just screwed up my 8800gt.. so im looking on buying a new card. But im dissapointed with how my 8800gt holds back on some of the newer games.

So ill save up a little more money and wait until ATI or Nvidia comes out with something spectacular. Do you think this is a good idea? or should i just buy another 8800gt?
