i wasnt aware of any am2+ boards that can run anything over 1066.

are they making bios updates for better ram options?

no, AM3 chips will run in AM2+ boards is what im saying.

Yes AM3 = triple channel DDR3 but it also has backwards support for DDR2 and
because of that, will run on certain AM2+ mobos such as mine.

do you have a link on the triple channel AM3? I thought it was only dual channel AM3, which is still more then enough bandwidth

Yea im curious as well, it really doesn't make a big improvement performance wise, but ill be amazed if they support it

That's what I heard too...only dual channel DDR3 support. I was really disappointed.
