Right now I have an X1650 Pro I took out of my brothers computer. Replaced it with my 3650 instead.

This card was originally meant to handle Halo CE. Which it did just fine, but my internet connection sucked. So I was never able to get much gaming out of it.

I heard this wasn't real... Fudzilla, There is no RV775 :: TweakTown

Though maybe ATI just didn't want it to be known yet...

In any case if it is real. How much of a performance jump are we talking compared to a 4870???

my best guess would be about 20% perhaps (but thats not bad if the prices are decent)

they really didnt make it look like a huge jump like nvidia did from the g92 to the newer gtx gpu's

the gtx platform really looks like a good start in a different direction imo.

Voodoo was the best when they were in business. Nvidia bought out 3dfx and killed voodoo. Worst thing they could of done. Voodoo cards were so far ahead of there time its not even funny. If they only stayed in business they would of put both ati and nvidia to shame for sure. I remember when I got my voodoo 5 dual gpu video card like 10 years ago lol. Talk about a beast of a card. Pretty much every card out now is in some way or form a copy of voodoo cards back in the day. Opengl would kill today's graphics to i bet.

huh??

Voodoo cards sucked....thats why they went out of business....they got destroyed by the Geforce line.
well, not really. They were very fast. It was basically because 3DFX had such radical designs that cost a lot to research (such as multi-GPU technologies) that they put themselves in a bad financial position, and were eventually acquired by Nvidia.
Nvidia's SLI was born, basically because of 3DFX - although they did it a lot later, at a much better time.
