all though intel would be killer if this was under $100. amd dont have a quad for under $100.

They should lower the price of the Q6600 to $100. They'd sell like crazy at that price.

If Intel did that, first gen phenoms will become paper weights.

yea guys dont even look at this 7500 quad, the cache is so low i thin itd cripple the high oc it could achieve.

Exactly. And with the fact that the i7 920 is in the same range as the PII 940, I think it would keep Intel ahead.

Once DDR3 becomes standard and DDR2 is phased out. Then AMD has quite a bit of catching up to do.
