They tested a 512MB version of the card, Vs a 1GB GTX280. :-( I know they aren't supposed to compete (supposed to be the 4870X2 Vs. GTX280) but still would have loved to see 1gb vs 1gb for the higher resolution tests.

Its better than a GTX260, woot.

For the price of around 375 to 410 USD (Though I think it will be closer to 400), ATI has done another block buster...

Tommorow will be a big day for ATI, as pretty much all the huge english review sites will be able to publish a review on the 4870's.

Look for Hardforum, tomshardware, anadtech and overclockersclub...

Oh common, its a range, 375 to 410... And I even said I thought it would be closer to 400 USD..

But it really doesn't effect me as I am waiting on a 4870 X2 which will be 500 USD ish..
