currently AMD's best cores are Revision E's
Venice = 512KB L2 cache, single core
San Diego = 1024KB (1MB) L2 cache, single core
Manchester = 512KB L2 cache per core, 2 cores
Toledo = 1024KB (1MB) L2 cache per core, 2 cores
they are coming out with a new socket, called M2, which will support DDR2. they will make new cores to support DDR2 along with it.
