u guys havent looked at the specs of DDR3 carefully. Benchmarks ive seen, anything lower then the 1600 standard for DDR3 has proven to be slower then DDR2 in most cases. Here is a link all about DDR3:
i think once ddr3 becomes mainstream, like with nehalem and possibly am3 it will start to drop in price, and the ddr3 1066 stuff will begin to out perform ddr2 ram.
