NAS Devices and backup solutions

I am looking for the best network attached storage device for medium sized businesses that do medical imaging. Along with the NAS device a way to back it up. LTO tape drives maybe. Any suggestions? I looked at the Buffalo Terabyte NAS and Dell and Infrant Tech NAS...
