Intel's 'Nehalem' To Launch Sooner

Does anyone know what they are going to call nehalem when it is released? Core 3 maybe?

seriously though, as i mentioned in the core i7 thread, what is the reason to call it i7 when it is virtually an 8 core cpu? so why would it not be called core i8?

kinda hints that there will be more chipsets (P55?) that use it

also the i isn't an apple reference. Historically Intel has shortened its processor names to ixxx. the 80486 was i486 and the Pentium 2 is also known as i686.

I know that was just a sad attempt at a transition on my part.

And another thing I just thought of. I think the "i" prefix is supposed to stand for intel, but I may be wrong about that.
