HYPER X CLOUD 2 HELP...

Hey guys I just got the hyper x cloud 2 head set for my pc. I can hear the sound but no one can hear me talk... I'm not sure why?? I'm new to pc so I thought maybe there was something I didn't do or setup??

Did you set the mic on the headset as the default communication device / default device under the Recording tab of Sound Properties?

Yeah I did it says it's default but when I click on it it says this device is not plugged in or is not supported. Why would it say that??

Do you have the correct one selected? Do you have the correct drivers/software installed for the headset?

It installed the software right away... Idk about drivers?

Check the headset manufacturer's website. See if device manager recognizes your headset fully.

K I'm gonna do that. I have an omni 5.1 external sound card... I hooked it up last night... Might that help??
