HRDs Faster Than SSDs and HDDs

Interesting. They do sound expensive. Less power consumption, higher speeds...sounds promising. I wonder how much capacity they'll be able to achieve.

Shouldn't this be in the New Technology section?

OT: So in what ways are these faster than SSD and HDD? They obviously have a 200MB advantage over HDD in transfer rate, but what about SSD?

They may be faster now, but I bet SSDs will surpass it. It still has read write heads which means there will be access latency. There is virtually no latency on chips so it's only a matter of increasing the bandwidth of SSDs to beat it.

Sounds good, fast transfer rates and low power consumption are two big features. I would like to see a back to back comparison between this and ssd's though, including prices.
