Help With Tivo

Help! I have a Fuzzy picture on live tv and recorded tv

I need help with this...we just set up our TiVo and it went smoothly. We have a cable (no box) and followed those instructions. (cable cord to back of DVR and red, yellow, white cables from DVR to TV)Now the live tv as well as the one thing we recorded are fuzzy. Any ideas??? Everything else works fine! (The tv had a sharp picture when it was hooked directly to the cable prior to using the DVR)

Mabey it has compression on the video that makes it lower quality. I don't know if you can change them on a tivo though. Why don't you just build a linux htpc with mythtv?
I think you should ask on tivo's forum if they have one.
