thats not a bad deal imo, gives a good idea on what other places will charge.

Same price as the 4870x2 2gb by Asus which is the cheapest more established brand. Saphire and hIs as always are that little bit cheaper

The 4870X2 is gonna have to drop in price a lot.....anyone who's seen benhcmarks know why.

2x 280s or 1x295

in other words, spend 330ish for another matching 280 or spend 175ish + stepup for the 295

All the prices will drop tastegw and sli cards normally beat dual gpu single slot cards.

More than that.

A single GTX 295 i estimate can pull with the largest workunits 16,000ppd alone. So two of them should be doing a good a good 30,000ppd lmao.
