Dual-Fermi GF100 Not Coming Anytime Soon?

I'm not sure why this dual-Fermi rumor (saying its not coming anytime soon) is such a big deal, everyone is still waiting on regular Fermi cards. These rumors are kinda putting the cart before the horse aren't they?

At this stage, what the consumers can hope for is that the GTX 470 and GTX 480 products retail for a reasonable price - under $500, at most, hopefully in the $350-450 range. Rumours suggest otherwise, but we will wait and see. The official "release" is a bit over two weeks away - though very limited quantities are expected any time around the March 26th release.

Dual GF100 is actually not possible.
The architecture doesn't allow for SLI or multi-GPU setups at all, from what I've heard about it.

Unless my sources are wrong, it can't even be done.
