ASUS EAH4770 FORMULA Video Card

If you are interested in a budget video card that still packs a decent punch, our evaluation of the ASUS EAH4770 FORMULA will definitely be of interest to you. We tested the ASUS EAH4770 FORMULA using the latest games including Arma II and CoJ: Bound in Blood and we threw in a little overclocking for good measure.

The ASUS EAH4770 FORMULA fell short in a few games to the GeForce GTS 250. In Arma 2, Fallout 3, and Crysis: Warhead the GeForce GTS 250 gave us a real gameplay advantage. However, once we overclocked the EAH4770 FORMULA that advantage vanished. The EAH4770 FORMULA came out of its shell and gave us a 125MHz overclock on the GPU and was then playable at the same settings as a GeForce GTS 250.

Looks like a nice card, but I think I'd rather pay the extra and get the GTS250, and over clock it.

most GTS 250's should be able to hit at least 800mhz core clock. meaning the GTS 250 is stronger clock for clock.
