AMD launches 4670 and 4650

From what I've read they are lower end cards but are pretty powerful for the price. Just wanted to throw this out for anyone to read

These cards have really good price to performance. I wonder how two of the 4670's in crossfire compares to a 4850 since it would be about the same price.

I knew something decent would come out for the HD 4600's..

Two 8800GT's would be about the same price and better.

me thinks amd is trying to reclaim the low end market. and i gotta give props to amd. for that price it looks like some competition for the 8800gs/9600gso.

The cards might be about the same price but you would have to use a more expensive, and in some cases inferior, nvidia motherboard for sli.

Either way it would only be a good option if you already had a sli or crossfire board.

Also sli does not scale as well as crossfire. so you take a hit by using a generally bad chipset and then you get poor scaling.

Zmatt are you saying that 8800GT Sli < 4670 CrossFireX?

Im saying that sli motherboard's aren't that great so to get 8800GTs in sli you have to make some sacrifices. Your OC would not be has high for example.
