The blue one is def not a HDMI, nor is it a USB or a Esata. I think it is a Bluetooth receiver. Look at the first pic, you can see it extruding a bit from the rest of the IO area.

I bet plastic sockets are why the MOBO's are so cheap

Quite cool . Board looks pretty good, I don't know why they put that blue covering over the HS though, that seems like a waste to me.

Druid, I thought the AM3 CPU's can use triple channel?

X58 is the only thing that uses triple channel.

I didnt think AMD was putting onboard video on the 890's

HDMI is a bit wider too.
