Most of these re-badged 9 series cards have some kind of improvement done to them. And the 9800gtx+ is a completely different card with the die shrink and all.

Thats exactly what i said, i said the 9800GTX is better than the 8800GTS 512, and the 9800GTX+ is even faster than the regular 9800GTX...

Wasn't the 7900gto just a 7900gtx that was refurbished or something like that? Maybe I'm mixing things up...

Why didn't they just sell the 7900gtx cheaper? You think more people would buy a cheaper better card... most average buyers aren't looking to flash cards.

Well I remember that their was something wrong with a batch of 7900gtx's and then all the sudden the 7900gto came out for a limited time, real cheap, with very similar specs. It was all a bit fishy.

Theres no difference man...they just renamed the card to sell it off to noobs who think a 9800GT is better than an 8800GT.
Look at the price....8800GT's are going for way less....
