80 Core Processors Spotted on TV

It isn't often that television (or the movies for that matter) get anything "right" when it comes to computers. It is so rare in fact that this episode of In Plain Sight caught the attention of one of Intel's Software Development Team. Hit the link above for the link to the episode that shows off the "80 core processor..military grade."

I'm not sure how Marshall could tell it was an 80-core processor from just the photo of the chip. Sure, dual- and quad-core chip pictures are pretty easy to identify once you know what you're looking at. But 80 cores? Still, it's nice to see a bit of technology represented correctly on television.
