Uhh.... who's on first?

Damn... I'm gonna have to think about that one.. it's too early for me to think that hard. I shall cogitate on that and return.

Thanks for the PM, BTW.

EDIT:

OK, I think it's *******. I could be wrong but I"m gonna go w/ my gut feeling hope it's the right answer.

(EDIT: Please, no hints on the multiple choice quizzes )

The IDE controller uses the ATA (Advanced Technology Attachment) bus which is also the IDE bus only with a more appropriate and correct name due to technology advancements. I personally use a Serial ATA drive as my primary drive and an Ultra ATA drive via the "IDE controller" as my slave. I think I still have a couple of IDE hard drives around but they should probably be in a museum.

Thanks! Not sure how I ended up here other than I was looking for current prices on memory sticks online and this site for some reason came up on a search results page and I got curious. Ive been a hardware tech for many years and still diggin every second of it. I get bored really easy so I needed something that was a constant mental challenge, and I definately picked the right line of work for that! I love to learn and I love to share what I know, so I will come to visit often now that I know its here.
