Default Core Hardware Quiz #3

This kinda falls between Hardware and Software but here goes......

How many logical drives can be created by using Microsoft operating systems?

Answer: B - 23

Explanation: 26 letters of the alphabet minus the letters A, B and whatever the system partition is in this case (usually C). The questioned asked how many could be made within a Windows OS. So, this is saying that a Windows system already exists.

Please DO NOT post the answer in this thread as other users may wish to have the same opportunity to answer the question. The poll will be closed in 2 days and the answer may be discussed after the poll has been closed.

Any post containing any answer (correct or incorrect) or a hint toward the answer will be removed.

there is only 1 answer that even comes close, but i still not sure why is there an extra drive letter missing because a hard disk does not require you to make any primary partitions and i don't think drive C is reserved.

so i am wondering where the hell this missing drive letter is going to. it seems like the answer is 1 off...hmm gonna have to check with google

oh right you asked for MS OS, i guess it is reserved just so we're clear on this.....i technically didn't cheat okay
