Default Core Hardware Quiz #10

If you have 256MBs of DDR Memory....what typically should your virtual memory settings be?

Answer: D - Initial: 384MB Maximum: 768MB

Explanation: As per Microsoft....your initial setting for virtual memory should be 1.5 times the amount of physical RAM you have. The Maximum virtual memory it double this amount or the amount of physical memory times 3.

Physical RAM = 256
Initial Setting = 256x1.5 = 384
Max Setting = 256x3 or 384x2 = 768
