When you format a FAT with a 1.2GB partition, what is the default size of the clusters?


Answer: E - 32,768 bytes

Explanation: Here is a list of the default FAT(16) drive sizes with the default cluster size:
16 MB - 127 MB 2K
128 MB - 255 MB 4K
256 MB - 511 MB 8K
512 MB - 1023 MB 16K
1024 MB - 2048 MB 32K
2048 MB - 4096 MB 64K
4096 MB - 8192 MB 128K *NT V4.0 only
8192 MB - 16384 MB 256K *NT V4.0 only

Ok, Ok....... 'Twas a trick question but I will give more detail ONLY because it was requested. LOL

I am talking about FAT16. If it were FAT32, I would've mentioned it....but since FAT16 technically WAS referred to as "FAT" well.......

well too bad i wasnt the one who took that quiz... my brother took the quiz without me knowing, and i know for a fact before i even read the quiz that it sould be something like... 2048 or so clusters....
everybody knows that (but apparently not my brother...) I guess it was his way of sabatoging (spelling?) my computer after i used his as a dummy to fix a HDD while he was working...

sorry for the misunderstanding, and for the fact that you probably wont believe me.
