It was a "Is everything compatible?" thread where I ordered an Atx Am2 motherboard alongside an matx case. Ended up giving my brother the case for his emachines and using some cheapo case for about a year.

X2 4600+ 89 watt Windsor, 2 gigs transcend value ram, 8600 Gt 512 mb ddr2, with a cheapo 500 watt psu. My antec 380 watt psu had more amps lol.

It was my first experience with dual cores and I was in love.

It's funny how time flies. Although quite a bit more distant from TF than I was before, I always have made a point of checking in from time to time. It's hard to believe that I have been here for 6 years!
