Does Mystery Science Theater 3000 count?? That show was too funny... I think it was on in the mornings & afternoons of weekends on the Sci-Fi channel... I would watch that with my dad & bother. GREAT show...

I like Stargate SG-1, but I don't watch it anymore, cause I don't know when it's on.

Before I moved out, (when I ACTUALLY HAD the Sci-Fi channel) I would watch Farscape, lexx (Ocassionally, VERY VERY bizarre show) V, and some others, names aren't coming to mind right now.

I like Voyager the best out of the Star Trek series, no reason why, I just do... Only ones I really ever saw were original, next gen, and DS9...

Since moving out, and only having basic cable, the absence of the sci-fi channel limits my exposure to sci-fi shows....

I too would love to see the Federation fall. I think they should base the series around a different race. I would love to see a series about a Klingon, Romulan, or Cardassian crew. A different perspective besides the Federation view of "Hello there aggressive alien race...can we not talk about this? No?Well we better get the **** out of here."

There has been several ideas put towards Paramount (and the powers that be). However they really want to say clear from the idea as they don't want to tranish Star Trek's image. So instead we gets these nice little alternitive reality episodes where it's a big "What If...?!"
So instead they made Andromeda instead based off some rough notes that Gene Rodenbury (sp?) had for Star Trek.

Systems Commonwealth = The Federation

Nietzscheans = Klingons easily. However if you really wanted to get creative, remember Star Trek II - Wrath Of Khan. Imagine Khan's people after 100 years or so of breeding becoming a force to Empire to deal with. Mind you, I got more respect for Khan then that idiot that turned out to be Drago Museveni in season 5.

Magog = Borg. However they got a ubar War Planet instead with point sigularity weapons. (BOOM! PLANET SHOT!)

Rommie = The Doctor (ST:VOY) / Data (ST:TNG) / And Ship's Computer all wrapped into one.... or is that 3.

That Rat Like Race = Feregi.

Paradine = ROLF! Don't ask...... I am going to settle for that race that lived inside the worm hole in DS9.

Avatars of the Suns - ROLF! Don't ask......

V -- remember that one?
It was a shame that they did not complete that series. Not sure if they stopped the show, or just finished it off..... really quickly. I have not seen all of V The Series.

I might get that one on DVD some time.

There is suppose to be a new series coming out this year set 20 years after where V The Series left off.

That's awesome! It may not be the same, though. I kind of got attached to the characters, like Donovan and Ham. I wonder if they will still be in it.
