Will you ever throw out old computer parts.

i seen the "how many computers are in your house" thread and seen that alot of people have massive amounts of old parts lying around.

im pretty sure the answer is no, i know ill never throw out my old Pentium MMX 200mhz (all i need is a new PSU), but wil anyone here ever get rid of old parts they just have lying around?

I think it would be stupid to do but there are some weird people on this earth.

I just tossed an old Pentium 133 machine in the dumpster last week. I'm happy to throw away parts that aren't going to serve a purpose or their time has passed.

All of my old stuff still works, so theres no point in throwing it out.

As long as it works I doubt I'll ever toss it. Might end up having to give some of it away, though.

just do what i do, fix em up and donate em to families in your area that could use them (kids in school, low income families, etc....) usually only throw out burned out stuff

i horde my parts. if i don't use them i tend to use them for other peoples pc's. anything that i can't really salvage anything useful gets thrown on the kerb for junk collection and someone who will use it picks it up

I keep everything I have concerning PC parts as I can always use more networking toys. And if not that it is a fun way to do some carefree OCing. I suppose I could use the parts to repair other peoples broken PCs as well.
